Local Food Share
How the Local Food Share Works
With a purchase of a GoFarm Local Food Share (multi-farm CSA), you make a commitment to the many local, small-scale farmers that GoFarm works with by paying upfront for a season of produce. We aggregate the food from these farmers each week, and ensure they are paid a fair market price that reflects the actual value of the food.
How It Works
How It Works
Sign up online for a full season of local food. When signing up, you'll be asked to choose what types of food shares you want to order, what location/time you want to pick up your food, and how often you pick up.
Then, you'll pay online for your order. You can opt to pay for the full season upfront or in 5 installments. We accept credit card and e-check, as well as offer 50% off if you are paying with SNAP/EBT or qualify for a discount share. If you sign up after the season has started, the cost will be pro-rated.
After payment, you are all set! Once the season starts, our local farmers will drop off their delicious, sustainably-grown food to each week, and you'll meet us at your chosen pickup location to pick up your share of food! We'll send you email reminders to pick up your food, along with recipes, storage tips, and info about your farmers.
If you miss picking up one week, the food won’t go to waste! We donate leftover food to our Community Food Access program where we make food more affordable and accessible to everyone in the community through food donations and low-cost markets at Head Start preschools, senior living facilities, and more!
Local Food Share Pickup Locations
At each of our locations is a refrigerated GoFarm shipping container where farmers drop off fresh food each week and where we distribute food to our shareholders. You'll pick one of these locations when you sign up for a Local Food Share, and that will be your pickup spot for the season!
