Harvest Dinner Chef and Restaurant Partners
Appetizers by Chef Jesusio Silva from The Golden Mill
Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Jesusio began cooking at 12 years old. In 2002, he and his family moved to Denver. For Jesusio, this meant learning a new language and culture while working his way up through kitchen ranks. It was here that Jesusio worked with chef Bryan Nagao, studying and learning Japanese cuisine. After many years of learning, he opened Osaka Ramen, Sushirama, a curated fish market, Misaki Sushi, and more Japanese inspired ventures. Jesusio's current venture with The Golden Mill includes multiple food concepts that take inspiration from both his childhood in Mexico and his passion for Japanese cuisine.
Salad by Cafe 13
Cafe 13 is located in the historic armory building in Golden, Colorado. The popular, fast-casual concept is well-known for their brunch, breakfast old fashions, and beautiful patio looking out on the foothills of Golden. Cafe 13 is a scratch kitchen, bringing in fresh ingredients throughout the week and turning them into delicious dishes. Cafe 13 has been a staple in Golden for many years, and we are excited to partner with them on delicious salad for the GoFarm Harvest Dinner.
Entree by Cynde Pribil
With a degree in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Vermont, Cynde Pribil chose to pursue her passion in the culinary arts. She became the apprentice to the chef at the Mystic Seaport in Mystic Connecticut and sailed the Eastern seaboard. She then moved to Vail in 1986 where she worked at Sweet Basil and Cyrano’s Too before opening Chanticler as head chef at the age of 23. She later sailed the Atlantic to Europe where she spent 6 months apprenticing under some of France’s best chefs. Upon returning to Vail, she opened Tempting Thyme Catering to balance her passion for cooking with skiing. When Jim King asked her to open a new restaurant in Beaver Creek, traMonti, she jumped at the opportunity. She spent 6 weeks training in Italy. She represented Vail at the James Beard house in New York and cooked for President Ford in Beaver Creek. She left traMonti in 1998 and moved to Denver to start a family while continuing to run her catering/private chef business on a part time basis. Family, health, nutrition, fitness, and a holistic organic lifestyle have always been her passions as well as international adventure travel in Africa, Asia, Central and South America where she can summit peaks, explore jungles and experience international cuisine and the flavors of the world. She is currently doing the slow glide into retirement so she can spend more time on adventure travel, volunteering internationally and giving back to the community.
