Important Notes For Volunteers

Time Commitment

We are looking for volunteers for our summer distribution season, from June to October. You can sign up for weekly or biweekly (every other week) volunteer shifts. We'll ask you to pick one location and time slot for the whole season, so you can get to know shareholders, interns, and staff at one location! To volunteer at Food Safety Support and Harvest Dinner shifts, you do not need to make a season-long commitment.

Even if you can't commit to the whole season, we'd love to have you on board! Reach out to us and we'll find a schedule that works for everyone.

Orientation and Training

We require volunteers to attend one volunteer orientation session prior to your first shift. Orientations will take place at Connects Workspace in Downtown Golden, and will cover everything you need to know about GoFarm, food safety, and your volunteer tasks!

Harvest Dinner

GoFarm's annual fundraising event brings us together to celebrate our local farmers, local food, local chefs, and local community. As a Harvest Dinner volunteer, you'll see the behind the scenes of this unique event, and have fun while helping GoFarm raise funds to support our mission!
