2 cups pasta
1 bunch arugula
5 oz fresh mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp medium heat mustard
1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente.
Cut mushrooms into thin slices.
Heat oil in a pan, saute garlic for 1-2 minutes, add mushrooms and cook until mushroom liquid has evaporated.
Add cream, if using. Stir in mustard and season with salt and pepper.
Drain pasta and mix with arugula and mushroom sauce. Place in warmed plates and serve immediately.
