GoFarm is Actively Recruiting Farmers, Social and Economic Justice Activists, Community Organizers, Philanthropists, Fundraisers, and Business Leaders to serve on our Board of Directors!

Board Member Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Support and promote GoFarm’s mission and programs.

  • Engage in the recruitment of new board members. 

  • Maintain general knowledge about farming, and agriculture.

  • Provide financial support and engage in fundraising events.

  • Comply with conflict of interest and confidentiality policies.

Committee Involvement: Board members serve on one board committee. Current committees include:

  1. Governance

  2. Finance

  3. Equity and Inclusion

Terms Limits and Meetings: Board Members serve three, two-year terms and meet quarterly.  

​

New board member terms begin March 1, 2022. Applications are being accepted through February 15, 2022.

GoFarm is a nonprofit organization with a mission to train and support local farmers, connect people with local agriculture, and increase equitable access to nutrient-rich food grown in Colorado. ​​

We envision a local food system that is equitable, resilient, environmentally sustainable, and inclusive. One in which farmers and farm workers have the resources they need to thrive and farm safely, community members have reliable access to healthy, local, and sustainably grown food, and everyone feels inspired to engage in their local food community.
