Heirloom Tomato Salad

This delicious and fresh recipe is refreshing on a hot summer day. It can be served as a side with bread, chicken, or shrimp or eaten on it's own as a snack!


  • 2 Heirloom Tomatoes

  • 1 pint of Cherry Tomatoes

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 Red Onion & 2 cloves of Garlic

  • Generous drizzle of Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar

  • Feta Cheese as an optional garnish

  • 1 bunch of Fresh Basil

  • 1 bunch of Fresh Parsley


  1. Cut all of the veggies to your desired size

  2. Add Tomatoes to Bowl: Arrange your prepared tomatoes in a salad bowl and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.

  3. Add Onions & Vinegar: Add your chopped onion to the tomatoes. Drizzle the salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, gently tossing to combine. If you like garlic, add 1 clove minced garlic, too.

  4. Garnish & Serve: Top your salad with crumbled feta and garnish it with chopped basil and parsley. Serve and enjoy!
