Community Food Access (CFA)
CFA Purpose
Increasing health equity with access to affordable, nutrient-rich, locally grown food.
CFA advances health equity and builds healthier communities by increasing access to affordable, nutrient-rich, locally grown food through Mobile Markets and membership based local food share distributions.
Much like a food shed—which ensures the flow of
food to a community—CFA supports local farmers by purchasing their products and distributing
them to children, families, and older adults who are experiencing food insecurity, transportation barriers, disabilities, and other challenges that limit access to fresh, locally grown food. To ensure equitable access, GoFarm accepts SNAP, offers Double Up Food Bucks, and uses flexible pricing to make shopping affordable for all customers.
GoFarm partners with local farmers and community organizations to:
-
provide full season food shares to participating members
-
host local food markets at convenient times and locations
-
offer flexible pricing on local food purchases
-
offer food that is enjoyed by diverse customers
-
advocate for systemic change toward food equity
In addition, we provide local farmers a robust sales channel where they can reach new markets and engage in an inclusive local food system.

Mobile Markets
The GoFarm Mobile Market is our “farmers’ market on wheels”, where we travel to different community locations to sell fresh and affordable food from our local farmers.

Food Pantry Partnerships
We partner with food pantries and food assistance programs to provide fresh, local food at more affordable prices. We also donate excess food to our community partners to help fill the shelves of their pantries and markets with fresh, delicious produce.

Community Collaboration
We are honored to be part of a broader community of food access and food equity champions. We participate in many community collaborative projects that are making incredible progress toward a more equitable, nutrient-rich, and inclusive local food system.
